Kway chap

listening to joe cocker's 'Up Where We Belong'...

This is a strange title because my brain ain't functioning too well and I couldn't come up with anything else. Anyway, shall recap the past few days events. Sloth is a sin, and I'm guilty of it.

Wednesday (Nothing comes between me and my kway chap)
Had a glorious meal of kway chap at Toa Payoh just now, which worked out to be about $3 per person. It's cheap, considering that my office canteen sells a less impressive one for two bucks. This TPY kway chap's ingredients were plentiful. The 'kway' (flat rice sheets) was thin and well-cooked, and the innards, tau-poks, eggs were nicely braised, neither too bland nor too salty. Most importantly, no trace of Porky Pig stench that badly prepared kway chap always possess. I'm not a good food critic, so just go try it and judge for yourself. Call me if you want the exact location.

Tuesday (kayTV = kTV)
Ooh... My ten seconds of TV fame. Was interviewed for a mandarin program last November, and it telecasted last night. I sounded brainlessly shallow and looked frightful! Took a picture of the telly for fun and will put it up here soon. Don't say I didn't warn you, I reminded me of Sadako from 'The Ring'.

Monday (Humpty Dumpty had a great fall)
I was sashaying to my car when I slipped and fell. Luckily it wasn't the major kind where your butt hits the ground first and your skirt turns inside out.
Mine was a small-case, with me looking like some volleyball player trying to save a spike. There's a 3cm cut running down the side of my left knee, and silly bruises adorning both my legs. Even with blood trickling down, my first thought was: Die! Did anyone see me?
It was both amusing and painful simultaneously. So anyway, I'd checked the position of the office car park's surveillance camera today. Yipee! Camera points in other direction!

Sunday (Go play ball)
Beach volleyball @ Palawan with Jennifer and friends. Shall do Sentosa again soon, didn't play enough that day. Was supposed to meet them at 10am, but I ended up in Sentosa only at 2pm. Tired la... It's not everyday that I get to wake up late. Gotta cut me some slack.
After spending a day at the beach, Jen and the rest were sunburnt. Hyak hyak! They'll start peeling soon.
Singapore is so small! Justin from college is actually Jen's BF's friend!
Yo, Justin :-) *waves* Was good seeing you again!

Saturday (Restauracio)
Great time with de gang at Andorra Robertson Quay. Tasty tapas, flavourful wine, wonderful companions... Need I say more? Try their sangria too. *rolls eyes in happiness and ecstacy* We're planning to do Morton's before Elaine's departure. It's been postponed too many times.

***I'm going to the salon tomorrow. Shall I do something drastic to the hair?
