Sloth is a sin and I'm guilty

listening to jay chou's 'Ge Qian'...

I've been procrastinating again.
Too many happenings, but too little energy to post entries.
It is not right.

Met up with old comrades from uni students' union last week. Talked over dinner and coffee.
Ah! The good old days when we were still full of life and passion.
When we thought we could make changes to ensure students' welfare.
When we fought over issues until 3am then proceeded for roti prata supper.
When we imagined the world was our oyster and we were its pearls...

Paid parking, fees hike seemed so distant. Did we really think we could make a difference?
It'd be swimming against the tide or even the tsunami. I'm old and jaded now.

Someone asked me about my views on:
1. the recent transport fee increase,
2. my political stand,
3. ST journalist's arrest and possible involvement in spying,
4. the economy, the education system... the list goes on.

I was given an incredulous look when I just shrugged and said no comments.

'Aren't you in media? Wouldn't you have a lot to say?'

Nope. Not recently. I'm not apathetic. I'm just tired.
Usually that's a sign for me to take a break.
