It's not Friday...

listening to hacken lee's "Fei Hua"...
I love Fridays. It's only Tuesday, but I'm already anticipating Friday's arrival. Hmm... what shall I do this Friday?

Kay was a popular girl last Friday, with three separate engagements. Haha! I'm a sought after babe...

After class, drove into Orchard to meet the gang. They were doing dinner at the fish eatery in Plaza Singapura. Scheming Kay had actually cajoled the colleagues to meet at the same area, so that it'd be more convenient for me to cross over and join in the bitching session. *hyak hyak hyak hyak*

However, by the time lessons ended, Gang had already adjourned to Mezzanine at Mandarin. I was cursing under my breath since my perfect plan was foiled. Still, meeting my secondary school chums is always top on my social event priority list.

It was a good session, where we celebrated darling XW's birthday and updated on our lives. As usual, birthday cake was provided by Getel cake shop.XL and Getty brought their latest concoction, durian cheesecake for us to sample.

Durian cheesecake.
Two of the world's most powerful smelling food blended together. Imagine durian cake, without the fleshy pulp. Imagine rich cheesecake, with wafts of durian scent. Clash of the titans or harmonious union? Personally, I quite like it, albeit a little confusing.

*EXCITED* We're going to have two weddings next year!!!
Hen's party, groom sabo, bridesmaid dresses... Gosh! There are like 101 things to settle for a wedding. That's why majority of the population just stick to marrying only once.

Poor Wee's caught in a fix. She's actually planned to go for her Master's next year, yet she doesn't want to miss the weddings. We reassured her that after E and BM, we'd have a wedding drought for a couple more years. She can always go for her studies then :)

After XL, E is next, followed by BM. Wonder if this sequence is according to the list we'd drawn up in secondary school. I've already forgotten my placing on the chart, but it should be somewhere at the bottom.
Our pact within the gang is that everyone gets to choose the colours for the bridesmaid contingent. XL's was pink. E's mentioned cream and gold, while BM is still decided. Shall start looking out for a groom soon, or I'll have no colours to choose from!!! *hysteria sets in*

Went over to Boat Quay to meet a friend after the gang called it for the night. Totally bushed.
