listening to tarcy su and yu quan's 'Hai Sheng Xia Xie Shen Me'...
Monday again. Yawn.
Office is somewhat empty, probably coz almost everyone's on leave.
I wanna go away too! Need a sanity break.

Helped out in the company trade event at Balaclava last Thursday.
Frankly, we had no idea what we were supposed to do.
Entertain the clients and business partners? They were already entertaining themselves.
We seemed a little redundant, and ended up having our own private party.
The guys in our department are teetotalers, while the girls are the binge drinkers.
What is this world coming to?
Weekend was okay. Could have been better, but I'm not complaining.
Couldn't pack too much in anyway, since I was supposed to be a good studious gal.
Sigh... Friday's paper was disgusting. Pray hard for me.
After the exam, went to pick my baby bro from SAFTI. Had spasms in my leg from the endless journey. Rushed down to meet the rest at Winebar after sending him home.
Saw a number of familiar faces that night. People from the record companies, NUS juniors, friends of friends etc...
It's hilarious how I always bump into casual acquaintances instead of my closer friends.
We always comment that Singapore is so small, we meet people we know, regardless of where we go.
But if that's true, why haven't I seen those people whom I so want to see again? *bewildered look*
Friday had to be my shortest trip at WB. We left for ktv after ten minutes (?) and one (?) lychee martini. Looking forward to Zouk this Friday and maybe even Saturday...
KTV was actually okay, though I had a scratchy throat and wasn't really in the mood to sing.
~~~
On Saturday, it was off to SAFTI again, to attend Bro's commissioning parade.
Had to rejected YL's kind offer for May Day's concert front row seat, and Cindy's Zouk Out ticket.
Why did everything have to happen this week?
Drove like a maniac coz we were running late.
There were two men on the bridge while I zoomed by in Zappy near NTU.
Now I'm fretting coz I'm not sure if I'll be getting a speeding summon.
By the way, this is a stern warning:
IF YOU'RE NOT THE TRAFFIC POLICE, DO NOT STAND IDLY ON THE OVERHEAD BRIDGE!!! You'll give drivers heart attacks.
~~~
Duckie! We're so proud of you! So what if there've been thousands of officers? They're not my baby brother. You are. And you look absolutely dashing.
While Bro, Dad and Mom went for dinner in the dining hall, the three of us took off to Breeze.
I was actually a little surprised when Bro's girlfriend agreed to join my sis and me for drinks.
I'm so glad she's a sweet, good-natured girl, instead of those bratty spoilt ones. It would have been painful if we couldn't get along.
Ooh, don't I sound like one of those dragon dowager sisters?
~~~
Sunday's plans for morning tennis were dashed when it started raining at 5am.
Spent the rest of the day drifting in and out of Slumberland. Read some notes, jogged in the evening, then went out for dinner with the family.
Nothing exciting for this week.
Next week, however, will be a different story altogther. Exams will be over by then.
WOOHOO!
