Teetotaller wannabe

listening to england dan/ john ford coley's 'I'd Really Love to See You Tonight'...

One of those songs that I play repeatedly in Zappy.
Its frequency should be decreasing since I don't feel much for the lyrics anymore.
That's how songs work for me. They describe my moods. Then there are some that I listen to simply because I like them. How on earth do I find rapport with songs like 'My humps'???

Another week gone.

Had been quite an exciting period, especially towards the end of the week.
Blooie's on Thursday, MOS on Friday, Loof on Saturday and work on Sunday.
Didn't drink much since I was still slightly unwell. Met a lot of new people instead.

One obvious sign of aging is the start of memory loss.
It seems I'd met some of these folks on other occasions, but I have no recollection of them.
I was very apologetic when Getty's friend Alvin, pointed out that we'd been introduced before. Same for Ben Papa's friend and some others.
XL's explanation: You weren't sober, gal.
*blush blush*
Possibly. One other probable reason was that my mind had been perpetually preoccupied.
But hey, at least I'll remember them from now on.

Being busy is a blessing because it stops my fertile imagination from creating havoc.
Lock was such a dear to check if I was alright yesterday, since I wasn't too fine last Sunday. Thanks dude! Walking away from the problem was the best advice you gave me. I refuse to give in to depression.

~~~
Will be on leave pretty soon and I'm looking forward to it.
