Trivial Prattle #6

listening to some Korean song from the drama 'My Lovely Samsoon'...

Ok, tell me. Does this make sense?

In the serial, the lead actor is cute.
The supporting actor is gorgeous.
The supporting actress is beautiful.
The lead actress is tubby, crass, frumpish and chor-lor (that's Hokkien lingo for boorish).
And it's not as if she's got a heart of gold or some redeeming factor.
Yet she gets the guy eventually.
What the?!?!
One of the most popular shows in Korea a couple of months back.
I guess sometimes people just want to root for the underdogs.

Caught both 'Big Mama's House 2' and 'Date Movie' one after the other on Tuesday.
Nonsensical, no brainer kind of shows that were good for laughs.
Didn't stir my grey matter as much as they tickled my funny bone.
'Big' was a tad better than 'DM'. At least the plot was plausible.

Anyway, if you're feeling kinda bloated, I would advise against watching either of them.
Two movies, both with fat suits in them, was like some ominous sign. Had to fight off the crazy urge to exercise coz it was rather late by the time I got home.

Removed the previous sulky entry about work.

I'm the Unbeatable!
Nothing gets me down, especially things that are so inconsequential.

By the time I got home at eleven last night, my eyes were bloodshot. I was physically exhausted and mentally cluttered. Had to scoop my sludge-like body out of the car. Then I decided since I didn't have to wake up early today, there was no reason why I couldn't go for a run. Tiredness could be overcome.

An hour later, I felt better.

Even though it feels like life is playing some stupid prank on me, it's actually easier to go 'hee-haw' and laugh along, than to think too much and dwell upon it.

Dingy people, out you go. Paltry issues, get away now.

I shall grab a book and drive off to the beach. The weather's lovely today.
