My Sunday shimmied away

listening to stef sun's 'Wo Huai Nian De'...

I woke up with a jolt and checked the clock. 6am?! My heart nearly stopped. Late for work!!! Panic!!! Then I remembered it was Sunday and I laughed myself back to sleep.

After lunch, the parents and I went grocery shopping. Dad had a sudden craving for ice-cream, and we bought two. I felt like a little gal again, to stand beside Dad and eat ice-cream together. Father and daughter bonding time.

Met the Tohs and Ms Chong for a nice, lazy chill out session. Tried to coerce the Tohs to produce babies, so that we can have flower gals and ring bearers for impending weddings. Dished out friendly advices to the parents wannabe.
I'm beginning to feel like a constant source of entertainment. When I bumped into the council senior IM after a really long time, one of the things he asked was "I heard you're studying TCM". Which was how I ended up sitting outside Zouk, with a drunk colleague's head on my lap, and a senior's pulse at my finger tips.

Drove off to Orchard to meet Fred, SA and S. Interrogated about grey area, post Mambo and hewhosenamewecannotpronounce. There was also a short discussion on how acupuncture affects sex drives. Tried to teach S how to speak Mandarin. We didn't succeed today, but we'll try harder next time.

Char sent pictures taken at the Singapore Day in New York. Lots of photos of local dishes, like chicken rice, chilli crabs, laksa etc. Her ending sentence, "Must still have local food bonanza when I come back!".
Dang. Gotta go on a diet before she returns. I only have two weeks.

Clicked the inbox icon and saw a new mail. It was short reply, but it was good enough. At least I know things are well.
