Lunch was at the new Botak Jones outlet opposite my office tower. Cajun chicken, Italian sausage, one large gumbo and a heap of crispy fries sprinkled with spices. CMPB is gonna have the highest percentage of clogged arteries in the entire nation.
Actually, I shouldn't be eating such heaty stuff coz I have a sty on my right lower lid.

sty: an inflamed swelling of a sebaceous gland at the margin of an eyelid called also hordeolum.
In Mandarin, it's called 针眼or 麦粒肿. And it's usually due:
a) excess fire in the body, or
b) looking at naked bodies, or
c) lizards pissing in one's eye.
See how creative we Chinese are, as compared to the Westerners.
Anyway, I decided to 'yi du gong du' 以毒攻毒.
At worst, I'll have one eye left and can start to look for a cameo part in the new 'Pirates of the Caribbean'.

Most probably, 麦粒肿 is due to "heatiness".
Cannot be either "looking at naked bodies" or "lizards pissing in one's eye". :D
自疗注意事项
（１）注意用眼卫生，杜绝用脏手及脏手帕擦眼等不良习惯。
（２）注意休息，不熬夜，不要使眼睛过度疲劳。
（３）忌食辛、辣食物、如大蒜、花椒、辣椒等。
（４）不宜多吃油腻厚味菜肴、多吃蔬菜，少吃糖。
（５）急性期不宜受油烟热气熏灼。
（６）保持大便通畅。
自治疗法
１．成药自疗法
（１）苦胆草片，每次４－５片，每日３次。
（２）牛黄解毒片，每次３片，每日３次。
（３）上清丸，每次６－９克，每日２次。

（１）银花３０克、蒲公英３０克，加水煎２０分钟左右，分２次煎服，每日１剂。
（２）野菊花１５克、夏枯草１５克，加水煎浓，每日１剂。
（３）紫花地丁３０克，水煎服，每日１剂。
３．饮食自疗法
（１）粳米６０克、砂糖３０克、竹叶５０片、生石膏９０克，在锅内加水放入生
石膏，烧开煎２０分钟，再放入竹叶煎８分钟，取汁加米煮粥，食前加糖。
（２）鲜荸荠３０克、丝瓜藤３０克、茶叶６克，水煎服，每日３次。
（３）绿豆３０克、石榴叶１０克，水煎服，每日３次。
（４）黄瓜１根、苦参２０克、水煎服，每日２次。
４．外治自疗法
（１）麦粒肿初起，用一块白矾沾唾液反复磨擦患处，大约２分钟左右，每日３－４次，２天即可痊愈。
（２）用食指压患侧的眼角，并向耳朵方向牵拉几下，使患麦粒肿的眼皮有被牵拉的感觉即可。
