Bad service is prevalent in Singapore.
I was browsing in the convenience store while waiting for my tank to be filled. The lady at the counter yelled that they were changing shifts. Not wanting to hold up her time, I quickly walked to the counter.
Kay: Pump 2. Paying with NETS please,
Cashier: (dramatic gasp) Oh no! I've pressed the 'cash-out' button already! Can you pay in cash?
Kay: Er.. no? I don't have enough cash, that's why I'm paying in NETS.
Cashier: Oh, then can you go to the petrol kiosk next door to draw money instead?
Kay: WHAT???
Cashier: Not very far lah. Just next door only. Thanks hor... Thank you!
I could have rejected her and demanded she redo everything. But it was kinda late and I had already gone through a terrible day. Squabbling would just make me feel worse. So I trudged to the teller machine next door and withdrew cash begrudgingly. Call me rude, but I refused to talk to her when I paid later.
Customer Service in Singapore = Customer Serves.

You could've said "Well, it's not my problem, and if I can't pay by NETS because of your silly mistake in your rush to leave, then too bad. Why should I have to do extra work for your carelessness?"
Hahaha...but since you've already had a bad day...well, live n let live right? Can always write in to complain about her hehehe...let me guess, Shell?
