Gustoso cibo, ho-boh?

listening to pin guan & penny dai's 'Ban Sheng Shu'...
~~~
I beg your pardon if you realize at times the contents in my two blogs are somewhat similar. That's coz:
1) If ever I leave the station, everything that I've written on the station would be gone. KAPUT.
2) There is only one of me. How many things do you expect to happen to me in a day?
3) Reasons 1 and 2 are bull crap. I'm just a no good bum who's too lazy to even come up with original posts.
Back to the topic.
For Fred's birthday, the uni cronies set off to Pietrasanta in Wessex Village.
On the whole, some dishes e.g. my seared tuna, the pizza, the parma ham and cheese roll, were decent. However, some didn't make the mark. Sean's minestrone was terribly salty ("gawd, I even crunched on the salt granule!"). He had to send it back to the kitchen. SA didn't fancy her spaghetti vongole too much.
At the end of the dinner, we noticed a little card on the table: As we're newly opened, we hope you'll understand if service or food is not up to your standard. Please be patient with us and give us your feedback so we can improve.
All's fair in love and pizza war:
Seafood pasta. It's a safe choice:
Tuna who tried to disguise itself as a steak:
Happy B-day Fred!
Colbar which is across the road. I like the old rustic Portsdown better :(
By the way, 'gustoso cibo' means tasty food in Italian. And 'ho-bo'? Oh, that's just Hokkien.
Hey gal, I went to that same italian restaurant yesterday! Didn't manage to read your post before that, or I would have tried the seared tuna - looks yummy! =)
Hmmm, not a place that we can go everyday though - our grp of 6 chalked up >$300 with 3 appetizers, 6 mains, 5 desserts, 3 coffees and several helpings of freshly baked bread.. =P and I thought the appetizers & desserts were more superior than the mains..
