When I heard the vox pop gathered by our News Team, I seethed with anger over the ridiculous interviews given by my fellow country men.
Singaporeans, you are a disappointing lot!
The ez-link card replacement exercise had begun in January and will end on 30 Sept. Nine months have passed, and suddenly you realize today is the last day. You hurry to the card counter, only to find out that the rest of the population shares your sentiments.
So what do you do now?
You complain. You 'kau-pey'.
About how long the queues are, how inefficient the counter staff are, how EZ-link office should extend the time... It's always easy to point fingers at others. Maybe it's time you grow up and do some self-reflection.
If you know of anyone who bitches about the long waiting time at the ez-link card counters these two days, please give him/ her a slap on my behalf and say this: WHY DIDN'T YOU DO IT EARLIER? OBIGOOD.
**update: Just found out from my coworker that those holding on to their Giro ez-link cards were unable to change their cards until they receive a letter from EZ-link office. However, the letter which arrived only recently, instructed them to exchange the old giro ones for the new normal ones, then apply for Giro feature in future. WHAT??? That is the stupidest instruction I've ever heard!
To those affected commuters whom I had insulted earlier, without knowing the complete truth, I sincerely apologize. I shall now turn my wrath towards EZ-Link (formed by LTA) for its foolishness.

btw the tube station near my new workplace (we moved offices) is the only station where I see people queuing up in 2 straight lines to board! OMG reminds me so much of sing, very orderly! we were all soooo very impressed.haha
