Power Party + JY&Candyce's wedding

January whizzed by before I could even blink. Probably coz I was away for a while. Wish there were more than seven days in a week so I'll have time to hang out with the family, help out at the clinic more, meet up with friends, sleep and do absolutely nothing. Basically, I'm lazy and I treasure my anti-social moments.

Managed to make this amazing discovery while chatting with E on GoogleTalk:

less free time=more work=more money=more opportunities to slack off=more free time

Let's call this equation 'irony'. The formula fails when you're busy with random useless things that don't rake in the moola, e.g. watching Family Guy and XXZXF, surfing online shopping sites etc.

Power Access party last Friday
Dinner with LN, SH and the rest before we headed over to the club to meet the rest of the colleagues. It was like a big reunion gathering before CNY. Each year, the alumni grows, but everyone is always jolly and glad to see one another.

Candyce's wedding on Sunday
One of those celeb weddings/ media playgrounds. Hosting the event was kinda pressurizing coz you could sense everyone judging you. I'm glad I didn't screw up.

The groom was exceptionally emotional (XJ, does this sound familiar? *rofl*). He cried so many times I lost count and I'm sure he didn't weep because of his loss of freedom.
1) Cried while saying the weddings vows.
2) Cried while performing for the wife. Btw, the new song which he wrote, played and sang for her was poignant and lovely.
3) Cried when his good pal JJ Lin made a surprise appearance after pretending to miss the wedding.
We also took an interesting picture during the dinner. This must be the first time in history that such a photo had been taken.

The blissful looks on newly wed couples are the reasons why I love weddings despite attending so many. It was evident how much JY adores Candyce and I'm happy for them. All the best, Candyce and JY!
