A lil older soon

2 days to go before my birthday.
I'll be on leave to celebrate the passing of yet another year.
Besides cake cutting with my family, there will be (should be!) a short series of events with friends.

Last year's was spent with the gang as XL's wedding was held the day before.
Memorable coz I was running a fever. To be more precise, dengue fever.
Which explained my trembling legs while hosting the dinner, for I don't usually get stage fright.

I'll be working this year, though we're entitled to birthday leave according to company policy.
At least my colleagues are nice people.

I will be getting myself some lovely birthday gifts too.
Disclose them after the 23rd.
