listening to faith hill's 'Let Me Let Go'...
It's plastered all over last night's tabloid sheets. Had learnt about it some time back from links that various friends sent out. We were quite certain of his identity. From the schools he went to, from his age, from his initials... It doesn't take a genius to piece the puzzles together.
E and I were truly dumbfounded when we first read the tristefemme person's post. The guy we knew could be the leading man in this saga. The blog writer had made him to be totally heartless and cruel. An absolute cad. Very different from the boy back in school, very unlike the boy whom our good friend used to go out with... A 'Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde' kind of unbelievable.
There are two sides to every story, and it would be unfair to point accusatory fingers at him just because of someone's words. I had my reservations. Then I got to read the guy's reply to the condemning posts.
And now the gal seemed manipulative and even vindictive. Yes, guy could have handled the whole pregnancy situation better. However, did she really have to email his bosses and ruin his whole career path? If she loved him as much as she proclaimed, this definitely is a perverse way of showing. And if she didn't love him, then why demand he marry her? Puzzling.
Then again, who are we to judge? Is it really business of mine? The only true victim of the affair is the poor unborn babe. Appearing in the papers, on the web, and even my blog all for the wrong reason.
