No time for morons

listening to kelly chen's 'Duan Xiao Xi'...

I must have evolved from a cockroach.
Nothing to rave about.
Just amazed by my own resilience. Very similar to the nasty six-legged insect.
I'm sure I can't be that unlucky all the time.
Things WILL get better!
~~~
Had enough of the self-induced unhappiness.
What good is it to mope and wallow in self-pity?
It wasn't too easy, but I finally sorta managed to put a stop to it.
Of course, having great friends, colleagues and family sped up the process. Thanks, ye all!
Credit also goes to all the activities that preoccupied my free time, leaving me with no room for angst and misery.
Like:
+Dropping by Bala to say hi to new friends, then bumping into old friends.
Spotted my favourite veteran DJ from another station as well.
I didn't know whether to say hi or not. Eventually we ended up smiling to acknowledge each other's existence. Popular but not snooty. That's why he's my fav DJ :)
+Reading books and Crayon Shin Chan comics endlessly.
Half-Blood Prince wasn't too bad, but some bits left me scratching my head.
Whoever
's death (not disclosing, in case some people reading the blog haven't gotten their hands on the book) was flabbergasting. HUH??? Why you die like that?!!
Without a big bang or some fanfare. Very much like Sirius' in Order of Pheonix.
Gwee lent me Amrita by Banana Yoshimoto. Gave me a throbbing headache with its convoluted plot. Nevertheless, habitually finished the book.
CSC was my life buoy during the first week. YY brought tons of the comics to keep me company. Laughed aloud like a crazed hyena, and earned me the evil eye from the family.
+Packing the bag cupboard, and discovering wonderful findings.
YEAH! Found some presents still in their wrappers.
Ooh-la-la! Treasures! *bright eyes*
I don't have to pay an arm or a leg for these precioussssss...
+Visiting the *ahem* newly improved Zouk.
I could possibly suffer from demophobia aka fear of crowd, after last Friday.
There were just too many people!
The queues for Zouk, Phuture and Velvet coiled like three endlessly long snakes.
WB was a little better, packed as usual but bearable.
Seb bullied the lady into giving us a table at WB. He wasn't abusing authority, but more of standing up for one's rights. Knowing how to utilize ze namecard is an art.
Anyway, WY overslept and made Bei so worried coz she was supposed to get a lift from the silly boy. We all went into the club after polishing off enough drinks to make the world seem pretty. Probably did permanent damage to my health by going to bed at 6am.
BTW, my latest resolution is to cut down the booze intake.
+Washing Zappy thoroughly.
I soaped and vacuumed my baby diligently. Even used a toothbrush to clean the rims. Zappy was sparkling clean and looked so cute with his gleaming wheels.
+Reacquainting with my uni friends, catching up with SY and the rest.
+Warbling at KTV.
+Planning for Halloween and hen's night with the gang.
~~~

With so much going on in my life, stupid arses or depression will have to take the backseat...

Woohoo! Kay's back!
