I knew I was in for endless ribbing when I went to work today.
True enough, after the general opening statement 'Are you ok?', evil colleagues started laughing at my stupid antics the night before.
Ok, so I was drinking like a fish (Gary's words, 'wiping the bar dry'. Lester's words, 'bottoms-up all the way').
Ok, so I was ten decibels louder (if I'd said anything I wasn't supposed to say, pretend you didn't hear them).
Ok, so I wasn't like the normal me (that's because they've never clubbed with me).
Ok, so I was clinging on to the bouncer (gawd. I hope at least he was not ugly).
Ok, so I was all manja and coquettish (someone kill me, please?).
Ok, so I was sloshed.
Bosses were afraid I couldn't make it in time for work, but no worries!
Kay got up at 5am, reported for work bright-eyed and all ready.
Some of the rest had hangovers, but not me. Ha!
The more they filled me in, the more distraught I became.
Shoots! What would people think?
Ugh... *fret fret fret fret fret*
Oh, and I guess while I'm emotionally fine now, I can't guarantee that the ouch-attacks won't sneak back once in a while. Apparently I was lamenting to TY in the loo last night about still staying in contact with the Person who is now officially known as an Arse.
*fret fret fret fret fret again*
Then while driving home just now, the other Kay spoke:
"Chay! Whatever la! As long as you're happy! Whatever!
It's not as if I had done anything disgraceful.
At least I walked out instead of being carried out. And I had the good manners to close cubicle door to puke in privacy. I even went home earlier than my usual Zouk trips."
There! I'm ok!
