Chill out Friday

listening to b.a.d's 'Don't Say Goodbye'...

Ouch. My face is kinda burnt and it hurts a little when I smile.
The sort where your skin feels overly tight and stretched.
That's what you get for playing tennis at 12pm...

It had been a deliciously decadent weekend.
Not the most apt description, but I like the way the words roll off the tongue.
No booze, no partying, no late nights (ok, ok. ONE late night).
Just lots of sleep and hanging out with friends.
Did wonders to the Inner Kay, though Outer Kay is suffering from sunburn.

Drove over for desserts at Hangout Hotel with the Bizcommers after Friday's class ended.
BW told me Sharmin was there too, so tried to look out for her.
Admittedly, it was out of curiousity more than friendliness.
I have always thought she was quite a gorgeous babe back in uni days, and wanted to see if she'd changed over the years. The last time I saw her was about two years back.

Made a boo-boo, when I mistook one of the persons at the far end table to be her.
Her whole table kept looking over coz I was blatantly staring over. Yet she showed no signs of recognition. In fact, I thought she had this puzzled look on her face.
Aw, com'on, surely you'd still remember me?!!!
Toiled through all the shit and sweat, stayed back for the endless meetings...
I'm not that forgettable am I?

Kind of annoyed until the real McCoy waltzed over to say hi.
Oops. Was eyeballing the wrong woman all the while.

After footing the bill, we carpooled over to GWC to get tickets for a midnight show.
We were waiting for the movie to start when we saw a junior with his other half at the cinema.
Wilfred, as usual, was the nicest evil person around.

"Quick! Group hug! Congratulate ourselves for maintaining our good looks!" he whispered.
*faints*

'Sky High' was a decent show.
Very applicable to Singapore's education structure, with our infamous streaming system.
There they have, it's Hero vs Hero-Support (Sidekick)
Here we have:
EM1 vs EM2 vs EM3,
GEP vs SAP vs Express vs Normal,
JC vs Pre-U vs Poly vs ITE...
Hollywood should really get some ideas from us.

Not much hype or publicity, but we enjoyed the show pretty much.
BTW, the gals agreed unanimously that the baddie-turned-good-guy who shoots fireballs, is way cuter than the lead actor.
