listening to jay chou's 'Ye Qu'...
Ah...
I'm sipping on a hot cuppa coffee, with a shot of Bailey's Irish Cream added to exhance the flavour. Just the thing to do on a wet Thursday evening before I dash off to class.
Life's good.
Album review time:
Some say Jay Chou's losing his touch, and I'm still deliberating over the statement.
This album definitely isn't as spellbinding as his previous works. After playing it on repeat mode, there are some songs which up till now, I can't recall their tunes.
Nevertheless, pit the album against some of the others that I've received in my line of work, this album wins hands-down.
There are currently six songs out of twelve tracks, that I'd recommend. That's 50%.
'Ye Qu', 'Fa Ru Xue', 'Si Mian Chu Ge', 'Shan Hu Hai', 'Piao Yi' and 'Yi Lu Xiang Bei'...
Give me a little more time. The rest of the songs may just grow on me.

Must be the lethal combination of caffeine and alcohol. I am feeling rather bitchy.
Sometimes I wonder why record companies splurge on queer newbies, with obviously no talents and no looks. Worse than one-hit wonders, these singers actually make one wonder if one should hit them.
There are some CDs in my storage box that have yet to be taken out from the protective cellophane seals. They are silently collecting dust, and occasionally used as paperweights. Also, if the covers of my old favourites crack, I'll replace them with the fairly new casings. Environmental friendly eh? :)

I'm not as evil as I seem.
Usually the radio station's copies will come in first before we get our own personal ones. And by the time I receive mine, I'd have listened to at least a song from the album. If up till then, I haven't discovered any tune to my liking, I'm sorry. This goes to the 'casing replacement' section.
Hey!
At least I treat all of them with care. I haven't thrown any of my CDs away before. I just reluctantly let them take up space in my house.
