listening to jamie callum's 'Get Your Way'...
Goodbye 2005.
I'll miss you.
You'd been great in every aspect of my life.
In 2005, Kay:
1. bought a new set of wheels.
Welcome Zappy!
2. pierced her navel.
Something I'd always wanted to do, but never got down to doing.
3. tried yoga and pilates and began playing tennis regularly.
Exercise is good for health.
4. co-organized a session with her primary school friends after years of not seeing.
5. travelled to Taipei and met up with RZ, whom she'd not seen since JC days.
Due to the trip, I've also strengthed the girlie bonds with my travelling companions.
6. renewed her friendship with my uni Bizcom cronies.
Zouk's the benefactor, for that was where I bumped into LN, SA etc.
7. let go. Met someone else. Then let go again.
I'm thankful for them who came and left, thankful for everything that's happened,. Even the not quite happy ones. At least they added colours to my mundane life. As for the happy times, need I say more?
8. started this blog.
My other one is still anonymous, but I'm glad this one is for public eyes. I learnt to stop bottling up. When the thoughts are put down in black and white (in my case, cyan and turquoise), the problems shrink in size. We tend to dramatise issues. So seeing them in print, makes one realise that most of them are such trivial matters. Ha!
I realise I enjoy writing stupid stuff. It doesn't matter if no one reads this blog, because I like going through it to jolt my memories a little.
Strange enough, due to this blog, I feel closer to some of the people whom I know read it. Like e, ms chong, hj, huiling, xinling, jen etc.
~~~
There are so many other things I can be happy about.
My job with its interesting bits, the exciting club outings, the glorious food I'd tried, the various Sentosa beach volleyball trips, the lovely shoes and clothes I'd bought...
And there's more.
Like some of the new friends I'd made in 2005.
Like my old friends, including my gang, my jc mates and others.
Like my DL comrades.
Like my real family.
A big thank you to all who had made it beautiful.
Oohh! I always wanted to pierce my naval but urgh, never had the guts to do it!
So, when are we going to see your infamous piercing? Happy New Year woman, and hope the next guy that comes along isn't going to a dickhead.
