listening to pink's 'Stupid Girl'...
Blog post backlog.
Haven't completed the one about XL's party.
Pictures have been uploaded onto photobucket though, and relevant people, I should have already sent you the link.

Sometimes when JF and I do our morning show, we check out sites like hotornot in between songs. It's mindless fun, albeit slightly cruel.
I'll rate the guys and he rates the gals. At times our eyes smart from the beauty of the stunning creatures. But more often than not, we laugh our heads off at some of the most ridiculous pictures. I even fell off my chair a couple of times.
Call us evil, but UGH!!!
*shakes head vehemently*
Spare us the agony please, and don't subject yourself to humiliation.
I feel bad when we rate you less than five coz we want to be honest.
Do what people think about you really matter that much?
If you are not eye candy, at least try to submit a flattering photo.
Bad hair is a no.
Lousy lighting is a no.
Picture up the nostril showing off the nose hair is a no.
Standing next to a better looking friend, so indirectly telling the world that you're uglier, is a big NO NO.
BTW, if someone says you're photogenic, don't be too happy.
It just means you look pretty bad in real life.
BTW again, if I have offended by stating the truth and you want to leave a scathing remark, be my guest. I won't cry if you tell me I look like a monkey's ass, but I might kill you if you say I resemble DFBL.

During lunch with the colleagues, the topic about goodlooking friends popped up.
JL: Would gorgeous friends make you feel inferior?
Us: Nope.
TY: Probably in gawky teenage days. That phase is over.
JF: Usually the less attractive one makes it up with some other redeeming qualities. Example, wit and humour.
Kay: Peeps, why should we debate over this? We are good-looking.
Silence for two seconds. Followed by hilarious laughter from whole table.
Kay: Ooh. Now we are witty...

I've never watched a single episode of the Singapore/ campus/ something-or-another Superstar hunt. No time. Not interested. However, the article in the Chinese papers couple of days back caught my eye.
Apparently no one is too keen to sign on the overall winner of the Campus Superstar.
Just because he still has cherubic chubby cheeks.
No much star factor, said one.
Oh man! Give that boy a break. He's only 16.
We don't need another one of those anorexic looking skinnier-than-thou male singers.
You want star factor? Just crash your head into the wall and you'll see stars.
Maybe I'm biased coz he's from HC.
Call it the school spirit.

Randomly chatting with F and he brought this up.
F: Appearance does matter.
K: Didn't we already know that?
F: Yes, just crossed my mind. I might not be interested in those girls, yet somehow I still gravitated to the prettier one. The other gal was interesting too, but I was less keen to listen to her.
K: You are shallow.
F: Oh yeah... I am. (smiles)

hey,my 2 cents worth..always think that beauty makes things easier, like getting help from pple (smile smile, open eyes big big). Pple in general will gravitate towards better-looking pple, given a choice that is. Abt feeling inferior compared to prettier frens..haha..dun think so,but maybe back in school. Now,doesn't matter to me what my frens look like..now the only thing that matters is HOW I LOOK. hahaha..about standing close to frens who are better looking..if I were to do that, I would be standing/sitting alone most of the time!:)
agree that good looking people get away with more. e.g. fashion faux pas, silly things like girl going into wrong toilet, overly-public display of affection... etc. sad but society seems to be more forgiving when it comes to better looking pple...
It's definitely true that good looking pple (guys gals alike) do get away wif more.....but honestly, it still shows, the person u are deep inside. An ugly personality affects the exterior somehow, we know. Those who can't tell, unfortunately, we can only feel sorry.
