Says don't make plans, you're broke
When the credit card bill for December arrives, this song will be my anthem.

The plan on Friday night was to meet for dinner, then proceed to E and XJ's place for post dinner drinks. After making some mental notes, I concluded I'd probably wouldn't be staying out too late, since dinner and drinks would at most take four to five hours.
Indeed, I slept early... Early in the morning at 4am.
No review on the grubs at Mamma Lucia. It was too mediocre to be mentioned. The only saving grace was their house red, which was relatively cheap and good. Poor SY who was late, had to suffer through chats about poo colours while she ate her greenish yellow pasta. XJ just hit the big 3-0, and his birthday present was major ribbing from everyone. The other two elderly affilates must be gleefully thanking their lucky stars for not being able to make it.
Then off we went to E and XJ's beautiful new pad.
The view from their living room is breathtakingly gorgeous. Although the sky was gloomy and misty from the recent spate of showers, the twinkling lights from the surroundings had comforting effects.
It was another inevitable 'Pass The Cork' session when the wines came out. Everyone gave their two cents worth, and all the advices seemed sound.
However, it could also be the fermented grapes trying to talk through inebriated human beings. If that were possible, then grapes are pretty smart fruits.
It was entertaining to watch the others squirm, until the cork landed in my hand. Bleah bleah :P
When XJ didn't reappear after his trip to the bathroom, and the girls started referring to one another by our blog names, it was time to go home. The hours just fly by when you're having fun.
Thank you E and XJ for having us over!
Oh! I remembered something: How come only SY, Wei and I got grilled?!!!
NO FAIR!!!
Nevermind, the cork will continue its round next week when we meet up for crabs.
*evil chuckle*
