Singapore Day

listening to elva' 'Zui Shu Xi De Mo Sheng Ren'...

Some pictures courtesy of Char.
I hear my stomach cry tears of hunger.

Four months ago, everyone wore winter clothes.

Now, they're dressed in singlets, tshirts, berms and shorts.

Four months ago, people (us) were ice-skating in Central Park.

Now, they (not us) are making roti-pratas there.

Singapore local dishes conquered Manhattan.

"There was time, when people said that Singapore won't make it,
But we did. But we did."

I wonder whether the food is as tasty ?

In my friend's words: "...ate like a pig", "the food was damn shiok".

Pls note that she's one fussy girl, so you know the standard of the dishes.

I thought they served the standard for "Ang Mo". :D

One thing I like about your blog is you always reply to the comment. Thumb Up!

The food was for ang mohs and Singaporeans living in NYC. I think the rest of our people will complain if they're served sub-standard food.
As for my replies, I'm just chatty by nature. No sweat man! Ha!!!
